I love the new Home For the Holidays Collection from Hero Arts. The Front Door Layering Stencil is fabulous and can be used for so many cards besides Christmas. For a Christmas card, however, there’s something special about a red door with a wreath upon it.
1. Stencil on a panel of Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock using the Front Door Layering Stencil and Core Inks. I used Pale Tomato, Cherry, Crimson and Cranberry Core Inks.
2. Die cut xsthe pieces for the wreath from the Winter Wreath Die Set out of Pomegranate, Raeeinforest, Fern ColorWheel Cardstock, Gold Metallic and Ruby Glitter Cardstock.
3. Assemble die cuts and adhere to stenciled panel. Splatter panel with White Acrylic Speckle. Let dry.
4. Stamp sentiment from Very Merry Wishes Stamp and Cut using Cherry Core Ink. Cut out with coordinating die.
5. Add sentiment to card with adhesive foam then finish with a few Red Color Essentials Gems throughout wreath.
