The August 2026 Press and Foil of the Month is quite a clever design this month. I used one of my favorite techniques for BetterPress plates. Remember, you could use the Glimmer Hot Foil System instead.
1. Use the registration template included in the August Press and Foil of the Month to align ghost press plate on the BetterPress platform.
2. Ink the ghost up with Black, Iris and Teal Topaz BetterPress Inks and run through Platinum 6 with Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel.
3. Before removing ghost from platform, place sentiment. Remove ghost, ink with Black BetterPress Ink and run through Platinum 6.
4. Splatter panel with Raven Splatter Effects and let dry. I’m not sure I like how this part turned out. You decide if you wish to add it!
5. Die cut the ghost included in the August Press and Foil of the Month from teal glitter cardstock as well as Raven and Blush ColorWheel Cardstock.
6. Adhere ghost to panel with liquid glue at the bottom and a thin foam square at the top to make it pop off card.
7. Add panel to an A2 card base.
