Spellbinders Upright Italic Holiday Sentiments Collection by Paul Antonio

The Upright Italic Holiday Sentiments Collection from Spellbinders and Paul Antonio are always so beautiful. Unfortunately, I sometimes struggle with how to use them. I went with one of my go to BetterPress techniques for this card. I inked each word in a different BetterPress ink color even though it’s all one plate.

1. Tape an A2 Porcelain BetterPress Cotton Card Panel to the top plate of the BetterPress System. Center the Upright Italic Joy to the World Press Plate on the magnetic platform.

2. Ink up each word on the press plate with Ruby, Pine, Azalea and Lime BetterPress Inks. Run through Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine.

3. Die cut the pieces from the Festive Floral Mix Die Set out of Pomegranate, Bellini, Fern ColorWheel Cardstock plus peach and light green glitter cardstock.

4. Assemble floral die cuts with liquid glue and add to card.

5. Cut stars from peach and light green glitter cardstock and place them throughout card.

I think the inking technique worked nicely. What’s your favorite way to use these plates? thanks for visiting!
