I love all the Classic Mouse Collections from Spellbinders but the Classic Mouse Costume Party may be my favorite! Everything on both cards is black, white or gray except for anything colored red. Just a reminder, the Classic Mouse Wedding is needed to create these characters.
1. Die cut the mouse pieces and clothing from the Classic Mouse Wedding in various ColorWheel and Specialty Cardstock. Everything I used is listed and linked below.
2. Die cut costume pieces from the Classic Mouse Costume Party out of various ColorWheel and Specialty Cardstock. Cut pieces from Classic Mouse Trick or Treat Accessories as well.
3. Assemble mouse using liquid glue and set aside. Use die cut to determine placement of stencil, press plate and sentiment.
4. Hold the medium circle stencil from Tim Holtz Layering Moon Mask Stencils in place with magnet if using a magnetic glass mat. Blend on Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink from corners, getting lighter towards moon.
5. Remove circle stencil and replace with detailed moon stencil. Blend over it with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink. Remove stencil and soften blending without reinking brush.
6. Determine placement of Winged Shadows Press and Foil Plates, place on magnetic platform and adhere stenciled panel to top plate. Ink press plate with Black BetterPress Ink and run through Platinum 6.
7. Impress sentiment from Spooky Sentiments Press + Foil Plate & Die Set using Black BetterPress Ink and Porcelain BetterPress Cardstock. Cut out with coordinating die. Cut die out of Pomegranate ColorWheel Cardstock as well.
8. Adhere mouse to panel then add thin foam adhesive to sentiment. Add red die cut cardstock offset then to card.
