Welcome to Day 4 of the Heroween from Hero Arts! Each card I’ve shared has been fairly quick and easy to create in order to keep up with one card each day. But that doesn’t mean they need to be boring! Here’s some ways to make them stand out.

Add glitter cardstock or loose glitter to die cuts. Lately I’ve been loving the Fairy Dust Glitter Cardstock Pack from Altenew.
Shading added with ink blending to the die cut’s edges add dimension.

Add a fun and unexpected element like the spider stamp from the Heroween box.
Splatter the background. I used Blue Raspberry Splatter Effects and Lime Zest Splatter Effects (only available in the Just Add Cake Kit right now)

A bold black outline, though simple, really stands out. I like Obsidian Pigment Ink for my sentiments.
Cluster elements together so things feel connected.

Trim card front then mat it with another cardstock.
Sequins or other embellishments add fun to the card but on a clean and simple card you only need a few.
There’s still Heroween Boxes available at different sites. Get yours before they’re gone. Thanks for visiting!

Love the white space, the spatter, the simplicity… the cute sentiment. Great job!
