Recently I subscribed to the Marvelous Monthly Series from Altenew. There are five different sets each month. This post features the September Mini Delight: Woodland Wisdom. I was inspired by Erum’s cards, style and colors from the recent Cozy Comfort Retreat.
1. Blend Olove Ink from top right corner fading out halfway.
2. Smoosh Olove Ink on a glass mat, spritz some water on ink, pick up with brush and splatter on panel. Add a bit of Sugar Kelp Ink for darker splatters.
3. Die cut owl from Mini Delight: Woodland Wisdom out of Buttercream Cardstock, Alabaster, Fawn, Acorn, Raven ColorWheel Cardstock and Bronze Glitter Cardstock. Assemble using liquid glue.
4. Die cut leaves from Marshland Cardstock. Blend on Olove and Sugar Kelp Inks.
5. Stamp branch from Mini Delight: Woodland Wisdom on panel using Olove and Sugar Kelp Inks. Stamp sentiment using Obsidian Pigment Ink.
6. Adhere leaf stems with liquid glue and each leaf with a thin foam square. Add owl using thin foam adhesive.
7. Add Gold Color Essentials Gems throughout.
