The November My Monthly Hero and My Monthly Super Hero are now available from Hero Arts and they are so fun! Today I’m sharing a card made using the Big Santa Die Set included in the November My Monthly Hero plus a few other items from the kits. I always think it’s fun when die cuts go beyond the edge of the card so I gave it a try.

1. Create background using Snow Layering Stencil Set included in the November My Monthly Super Hero and Arctic, Paradise and Aegean Core Inks.
2. Cut out stenciled panel using largest Nesting Postage Infinity Die and adhere to a 5 x 7 panel of Indigo ColorWheel Cardstock then to an A7 card base.
3. Die cut Big Santa Die Set included in the November My Monthly Hero out of Pomegranate, Chiffon, Blush, Fog, Raven and Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock.
4. Stamp sentiment from Christmas Cheer Stamp included in the November My Monthly Hero and Cut using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

5. Assemble Santa then adhere to card using thin foam adhesive. Cut a second hat and adhere behind the first for a finished look inside card and to make the overhang sturdier.
6. Die cut the String of Lights Die Set included in the November My Monthly Hero twice out of Raven and Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock.
7. Color the lights die cuts Key Lime Fizz, Pool Party and Taffy Reactive Inks. Adhere to Raven die cut then to Santa leaving lights loose.
8. Blend the same ink colors below lights to add a glowing effect.
What’s your favorite from the kits? Thanks for visiting!
