August 2023 Hero Arts My Monthly Blog Hop and giveaway

Welcome to the August Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Blog Hop and Giveaway! Such a fun release with fancy dies, glitter, Hero Transfers and Two-Tone Spray. I have so much to share today that I’m not doing tutorials for each card. If you have any questions please leave me a comment.

Giveaway

Hero Arts will give away a $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, August 13th at 11:59pm Pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

CLASSIC
• Clear Stamp Set, 4″ x 6″

Our August release was inspired by a recent trip our owners took to Yosemite National Park! With dies to cut out trees, mountains, plateaus and fields of wildflowers, the amount of scenes that can be created is endless. In addition to these show-stopping dies, the full Premium Kit features a 4″ x 6″ stamp set full of messages, useful for a variety of card-giving occasions, or as inspirational embellishments on your mixed media projects. There’s also a 3″ x 4″ stamp set full of blooming poppies. There are coordinating dies to cut out the flowers, too! Our Hero Transfers have been a huge hit this year, so we’ve packed the kit with four sheets of fabulous cactus rub-ons; use these on cards, planners, journal pages – you name it! EarthSafe Glitter is a fitting element to include in a kit celebrating nature; you’ll have the opportunity to try out our fully biodegradable gold glitter. Rounding out the Premium Kit are brass embossing powder, a gorgeous Two-Tone Shimmer Spray, and a sampling of premium cardstock in six beautiful colors.

I did not have the gold glitter included in the Classic Kit so I used Gold Glitter Paper.

This card uses cardstocks, dies and sentiments from the Classic Kit. In addition it uses the Hexagon Infinity Dies and Gold Glitter Paper.

This is a tri-fold card created using the cardstocks, sentiments and dies from the Classic Kit.

I used the flowers from the Premium kit along with the cardstock, die and sentiment from the Classic Kit. Additionally, I used the Arches Infinity Die and Gold Glitter Paper.

The background was sprayed with the Two Tone Spray from the Premium Kit. The flowers are from the Premium Kit and the sentiment is from the Classic Kit. I also used the Scalloped Circle Infinity Die combined with a Circle Infinity Die.

The two cards using the Two Tone Spray are from one half sheet of cardstock.

The background was sprayed with the Spring Green Two Tone Spray included in the Premium Kit, which includes the Hero Transfers as well. The sentiment is from the Classic Kit.

The background was inked with Papaya and Dandelion Core Inks. The sentiment is from the Classic Kit and the Hero Transfers are from the Premium Kit.

  7. Oh my!
You have been busy in your craft room for this new kit!
I really like the first card and how the Hexagon frames the scene.
Thanks for sharing so many wonderful cards!

  8. All of these cards are wonderful! However, my favorite card is the gold glitter-framed mesa with the poppies! I love how you added depth to the scene by giving the mesa a shadow. Beautiful!

  9. Oh my gosh, such fabulous cards! I love all of the designs – but really love the first one with some of those trees on the outside of the frame!
